We celebrate with Tom Dentith this week as he has his birthday!

Almighty Lord and everlasting God, we beseech you to direct, sanctify and govern both our hearts and bodies in the ways of your laws and the works of your commandments; that through your most mighty protection, both here and ever, we may be preserved in body and soul; through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Please send Hannah notices by Wednesday afternoons.

Our People: We pray for our members who have spent the week at New Wine; that they will be able to bring back words, encouragement, testimony and insight from God to share with us and others around them, and will impact their lives in a positive and lasting way.
Our Community: We pray for the work of Hope Coventry, where they strive to bring the churches in Coventry together in unity of purpose. We thank God for every volunteer involved in each local church that they will find fulfilment in all they do and will notice God’s blessing on their work for the Kingdom of God.
Our Country: As the wages of the celebrities, presenters and footballers earning millions of pounds a year continue to make the press, we pray for an outpouring of generosity from these individuals to those in need, but also a thankfulness in our own hearts that God provides all that we need each day.
Our World: In China the government has been engaging in a crackdown of arrests and harassment of human rights lawyers, including those defending religious rights. Over the last two years, hundreds of lawyers and their families have been detained or disappeared. Christians and those defending them are under attack.
