Life Questions

These questions are for you to consider individually and in Life Groups; take time going through these and allow questions to create conversation. Read the bible passages above.
1. How would you describe Jesus to non-Christians?
2. What does Jesus mean to you?
3. How does God describe you?

We pray for and celebrate with Isla Wootton, Philip Maud, Kathy Burch and Sophia Shepherd as they have their birthdays this week.

God, who in generous mercy sent the Holy Spirit upon your Church in the burning fire of your love: grant that we may be fervent in the fellowship of the gospel that, always abiding in you, we may be found steadfast in faith and active in service; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

  • The Church Autumn Magazine 2017 is available in the welcome area
  • There is a letter to each church member regarding the Paraclesis Course. You will have either been sent this by email in the Notices section of the notice sheet, or have a printed copy on the table by the door to pick up
  • If you are not yet part of a Life Group, please sign up in the welcome area for the Paraclesis Course starting NEXT SUNDAY!
  • Please provide any notices, prayer requests, or events for the next notice sheet by Wednesday morning

Our People: We pray for Roger, as he is unwell, and for those others we know to be struggling with ill health. We also pray against colds and flu as the weather turns colder.
Our Community: We pray a heart of worship in this community. We pray for Hallie as she joins us interning as our Trainee Worship Pastor, that she will settle in well and bring something new and exciting to our pattern of worship.
Our Country: We pray against acts of terrorism; that those involved will come to know the Lord instead.
Our World: We pray for God’s provision for those in Nigeria displaced by the violence against Christians and those of other minority religions. We pray for an end to the persecution.
