These questions are for you to consider individually and in Life Groups; take time going through these and allow questions to create conversation. Read the bible passages above.
1. Who are our neighbours? Name some of them.
2. How are we practically loving them?
3. What risks do we take to love?
We pray for and celebrate with Jacky Cashmore, Anella Davidson, Judith Walters and Michael Pitt as they have their birthdays this week.
O Lord, we beseech you mercifully to hear the prayers of your people who call upon you; and grant that they may both perceive and know what things they ought to do, and also may have grace and power faithfully to fulfil them; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
There will be a set of letters given out this Sunday. Where possible please complete the enclosed slip and return to Hannah before you leave on Sunday
Paraclesis Course begins this week. Please sign up for a Life Group if you are not already in one for this 6 week course
Since the upgrades to the sound system, the Sunday sermons can be recorded. You can find the sermons from the last two weeks on our website http://www.stjamesfletch.org.uk/ under the Resources tab
Please provide any notices, prayer requests, or events for the next notice sheet by Wednesday morning
Our People: We pray for everyone taking part in the Paraclesis course, particularly for Life Group discussions, that they would allow us to grow in our understanding of God and life as a Christian.
Our Community: We pray for a community of forgiveness and understanding; that God will open eyes and hearts to the joy of releasing a burden of bitterness.
Our Country: We pray for all Macmillan fundraisers and workers; for the success of coffee mornings and other fundraisers and for those supporting people with cancer on a daily basis.
Our World: We pray for the Central African Republic in the midst of the violence and instability. We ask for protection and peace for God’s people.
