These questions are for you to consider individually and in Life Groups; take time going through these and allow questions to create conversation. Read the bible passage above.
1. Verse 4: How do you give your attention to another’s needs?
2. Verse 6: What have you got to give away?
3. When have we seen God answer prayer for another?
We pray for and celebrate with Man Mui Liu as it is her birthday this week.
Memorial Service: THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON. Please could people provide cakes for this; see Anne Richards or Helen Kearney
Advent Candles: Calendars are available from the card stall (all proceeds to Gilead Health Trust in Uganda)
Safeguarding: If there is anyone involved in the Music Group, Prayer Ministry, Children/Youth work etc. who have not yet undertaken their C1 safeguarding training there is a session at St. John's Westwood on Wednesday, November 29th 7-9.45pm. Please see Anne Lancaster for details on how to book
Emergency Prayer Chain: The new urgent prayer support system is about to be launched. If you would like to take part and have not already spoken to Anne Lancaster please do so now. This is a wonderful way of putting Paraclesis into action as we can support each other in prayer during moments of difficulty for ourselves and family and friends
Nativity Scene Exhibition on Sat 9th Dec-Thur 14th Dec at West Orchard Church. 2.00-4.00pm each day (6.00-8.00pm on the Tues). Free of charge. Light refreshments. Children’s activity area
Our People: We pray that as we study the Paraclesis Course this final week we would be inspired to come alongside others and with God’s guidance and teaching, we would bless, support and strengthen those around us.
Our Community: We pray for those in financial difficulty in our city, particularly for parents struggling to meet increasing financial demands for schooling and food, and for those battling with rising house/rent prices. We ask for the appropriate support and relief for these people and for a renewal of hope.
