Life Questions
These questions are for you to consider carefully and apply to your life. Read Romans 4:13-25 & Mark 8:31-38 and think about the following:
1. (v33) Have you ever experienced friends discouraging you from following God’s call?
2. (v34) What do you think Jesus means by ‘deny yourself’?
3. How do we take up our cross and follow Him?

Safeguarding is a very important issue for the Church. The Diocese would like every member of the congregation to take part in a simple Safeguarding session. Please join us in Church on Fridays March 9th, 8.15-9.15pm. Refreshment provided. If you have already undertaken the C0 online course you do not need to attend. Further information from Anne Lancaster – Parish Safeguarding Officer

We are hosting a Women’s World Day of Prayer Service on Friday 2nd March at 7.30pm. This year’s theme is “All God’s Creation is Very Good.”
Enkisuma Ceilidh and Fish&Chip meal is at church on Friday 16th March at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 and need to be pre-booked with Steve or Sue in order to receive the fish dinner, as it must be pre-ordered.
We plan to arrange a Family Fun Day on the May Day Bank Holiday, May 7th. We may do some fund-raising for Christian Aid. If you are able to help with this please speak to Anne Lancaster.

We celebrate with and pray for Gwyneth Morgan and Sandra Cooke as they have their birthdays this week.

Prayer Challenge
Choose one thing, however big or small, you think God may be asking you to do, or you think would be good for your walk as a Christian, and do it this week. It may be praying for an individual, or taking your neighbour a cake. It may be setting aside a daily quiet time, or finding an accountability partner. Try it this week and pray for God’s guidance and help to stick at it!
