Discuss the many things God has done for us in this passage.
(v5) What are the implications of our “adoption to sonship”?
(v14) How is the Holy Spirit described here?
The phrase “the praise of His glory” is used many times here. What is the significance?

Lord, help us to gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be chosen by you; to be loved so much by you that made us your children; to be lavished with your riches; to be offered the knowledge of your great plans for us; to have a place reserved for us in your Kingdom and to be given the gift of your Holy Spirit. You have given us gifts beyond measure, including the precious gift of life. We thank you and praise you, asking that you help us use those gifts well. Amen.
